Builders M8 is operated by Eko UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide professional tools that transform voice notes and text into structured reports using artificial intelligence. Images you upload are attached to reports but are not processed by AI.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Builders M8, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

Your Use of the Service

• You must hold all necessary rights to any content you upload. You shall not submit any unlawful, infringing, defamatory or harmful material.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you submit.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately for misuse, breach of these terms, or non-payment.

AI Processing & Your Data

• Your voice notes and text are processed by AI models to generate report outputs. Images are stored and attached to reports but are not processed by AI.
• Your data is never used to train public AI models. We use enterprise AI services with strict data protection agreements that prohibit the use of your content for model training.
• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before use.
• AI outputs should not be relied upon for safety-critical decisions, legal advice or regulatory compliance without independent professional verification.

Data Storage & Security

• All data, including backups, is stored within Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centres located in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1).
• We implement robust technical and organisational security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest.
• You must obtain all necessary consents from any third parties before submitting their personal data to the service.

Payment & Billing

• Subscription fees, billing cycles and plan features are displayed at checkout and within your account dashboard.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice. Price changes take effect from your next billing period.
• Failure to pay may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of all content you submit to the service.
• You are granted a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use any AI-generated outputs for your business purposes.
• All software, technology, branding and intellectual property of Builders M8 remains our exclusive property.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, process and protect your personal data. By using the service, you consent to such processing in accordance with that policy.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with all applicable laws, including UK GDPR and data protection legislation, and does not infringe any third-party rights.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and liability for indirect, consequential or incidental losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access immediately for breach of these terms or where required by law.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
